Dan Barber to Visit Sacramento Public Library
Sacramento Public Library’s One Book selection for 2015 is The Third Plate: Field Notes on the Future of Food by Dan Barber, chef and owner of Blue Hill restaurants in Manhattan and at the Stone Barns Center for Food and Agriculture in upstate New York. Be sure to finish the book by October 6, for the James Beard Award–winning author will visit the downtown library then to argue that it is possible to have healthy, delicious food while doing a better job of taking care of farmers and their land.
